OUR SERVICES

COSMETIC DENTISTRY

  • VENEERS

Porcelain veneers are thin facings placed over damaged, chipped or dark teeth. These restorations are also used to close spaces or “straighten” crooked teeth. Veneers are perhaps the most effective, conservative method to give you that beautiful pleasing smile. Call today to schedule your complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to seeing you!
  • CROWNS

Usually fabricated of ceramics, crowns restore broken teeth, teeth with large existing failed fillings, fractured teeth or teeth with extensive decay. Crowns are also placed on teeth that have previously been treated with a root canal help to prevent fracturing. These restorations can often be completed in approximately 90 minutes with no temporaries and often no messy impressions.
  • CERAMIC ONLAYS

An alternative to crowns, these restorations are state-of-the-art. Cerec technology gives us the ability to restore large existing failed fillings back to a beautiful life like result. These restorations are an excellent solution to replace old amalgam fillings or decay. Onlay restorations are usually completed in the same visit with no temporaries.
  • AMALGAM REPLACEMENT

Replace those black fillings in the back of your mouth with more biocompatible tooth colored composite fillings. Esthetically more pleasing these restorations can also preserve more natural tooth structure and won’t develop metal sensitivity. Call today and inquire about having your old amalgam fillings replaced.
  • TOOTH WHITENING

Probably the most popular dental treatment done today. There have been countless studies done proving the safety of dentist monitored whitening. We have several options available:
    • Zoom II – The quickest, most efficient method of bleaching in a safe manner.
    • Day White, Night White – Tray bleaching that will whiten teeth over a period of 2 weeks with applications of 15 minutes to 1 hour per day.
For most patients teeth whitening usually last approximately one year. Touch up applications can be used at home following your recall appointments.
  • BONDING

A more conservative method to enhance your smile, this procedure is to fill in spaces, correct misshaped teeth, and lighten teeth. Tooth colored materials are applied to the teeth to create a more pleasing smile. While not as long lasting as veneers, bonding can last years with proper care. We offer a complimentary cosmetic consultation, call today to schedule yours.

SEDATION DENTISTRY

  • SEDATION

We strive to make our patients comfortable and well cared for. Headphones, movies and nitrous oxide all help in allaying any perceptions about treatment. However for those long appointments or if the patient is anxious about treatment, oral sedation can be in ideal addition. Call today to learn more about this easy and effective treatment option.

FAMILY DENTISTRY

  • PREVENTIVE CARE & GUM TREATMENT

We feel one of the most important services we offer is that of preventive care. Regular check-ups and recall appointments are the key to good oral health. More and more studies are demonstrating the relationship between gum disease and systemic disease. Diabetes, heart disease and inflammatory conditions are all linked to periodontal disease (gum disease). Thorough cleanings, “pocket” screenings, and necessary radiographs are utilized to keep your mouth healthy. If problems exist, non-surgical treatments are usually done. We also use laser therapy when indicated.
  • CLEANINGS & EXAMS

An ounce of prevention truly is the most desirable approach to your health. Regular cleanings and exams can ensure the health of your mouth and in turn your general health. Our hygienists are both gentle and very thorough. If you are due for your hygiene appointment, call today to schedule a convenient time for you to come in to have your teeth cleaned and an exam. You’ll be glad you did.
  • PERIODONTAL DISEASE

Gum disease as it is more commonly known is the most prevalent disease today. Bleeding gums when flossing or brushing is a classic sign. Gum disease has been linked to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and many other systemic diseases. It also accounts for the majority of teeth lost today. Our patients receive a through evaluation of the health of their gums and teeth at each cleaning appointment. Our hygienists are highly skilled and very knowledgeable. If treatment is indicated we use a non-surgical procedure in most cases. We also utilize a "soft tissue" laser for more advanced conditions. Don’t hesitate to call for an evaluation – you will be happy you did.

GENERAL DENTISTRY

  • CROWNS

In about 90 minutes, no temporaries, no return visit to seat crown. Most of the appointment is fabricating the crown with our state of the art lab instruments. Digital technology gives us the capability of placing beautiful life like ceramic restorations in approximately 90 minutes.
  • FILLINGS

Replace those black fillings in the back of your mouth with more biocompatible tooth colored composite fillings. Esthetically more pleasing these restorations can also preserve more natural tooth structure and won’t develop metal sensitivity. Call today and inquire about having your old amalgam fillings replaced.
  • COLD SORES

Cold sores or mouth ulcers can range from a nuisance to extremely painful. There are medications today that are very effective in treating cold sores. Usually one 10 second application and the pain is gone.
  • SLEEP APNEA

Many people suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea (difficulty in staying asleep) and snoring. There are procedures and appliances today that help with these conditions. Call today to learn how a retainer type appliance can give you a more restful, quiet sleep. Most people do not realize they have OSA. If someone has told you that you snore, you may have OSA. If you have been prescribed a CPAP and find it uncomfortable or you simply do not use it, give us a call to find more out about a comfortable & effective solution. Studies show OSA patients are linked to be at a greater risk for depression, stroke, heart attack, diabetes, sexual impotence and twice as likely to die in you sleep and 7 times more likely to have a motor vehicle accident. Call today to schedule your complimentary consultation.
